I was taken aback when the chip arrived in a plain box instead of the usual retail packaging. It came in a plastic bag, and there were some pretty noticeable scratches on the LED display. When I reached out to the company, they told me I had been sent a returned chip. They explained that the previous buyer had upgraded to the full performance stage 3 chip. They offered me a partial refund if I decided to keep it. The refund was nice, but I was mainly worried about how well the chip would perform. Subjectively speaking, it does seem to give a boost in torque. The MPG for this vehicle can fluctuate quite a bit, but I haven't seen any improvement in that area. I’m using a Sprint Booster, which tends to make me a bit heavy on the gas. One major downside is that the chip doesn’t play well with ECO mode on my Hybrid. When I turn on ECO mode with the chip, it gets all confused. The car feels really sluggish, with a noticeable flat spot when I accelerate. Sluggish, like, way more than without the chip. Still, it appears to be doing what it’s meant to do.

I ended up with a $200 repair charge for my 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The performance chip messed with my EBS and Stabilitrak system. It impacted my ride and braking, and after I removed it and tossed it out, I feel like I'm driving a whole new vehicle. Any improvement it was meant to provide just didn’t show up after 1,500 miles.

I purchased the stage lll tuner for my totally underpowered 3.7 Dodge Nitro. Let me tell ya, this chip really brought my SUV to life. I'm quite impressed. Not certain about the fuel efficiency, but I can definitely say this will boost your car's horsepower. And it's made in the USA, arriving in under a week. That's a double win!

I purchased the stage 2 chip for my RAV4 and left it in the vehicle for three weeks, which is longer than the two weeks they suggested. Not only did it fail to enhance my mileage or boost power, but honestly, the SUV felt even more sluggish than before. Plus, my mileage dropped by 3! I had to cover the return shipping cost ($11.15), and they also hit me with a 15% restocking fee?!? Their site claims a full money-back guarantee. I definitely won't be recommending this company.

I got the Stage 1 for my 2016 CX-5, and after I set it up, the Mazda is running smooth as butter. It idles better, and I can definitely see a boost in performance. From these quick results, I can tell the MPG is likely to get better too.

I’ve put the Stage1 chip in my Ford Fusion v6 and have been driving it for around 5,000 miles now. Everything’s been going well. The low-end power has improved, which was definitely necessary. Throttle response and overall performance are much better. Totally worth it for this ride.

I also got a Stage1 for my wife’s Escape, and it’s the same story. This company really knows how to make a solid product that delivers.
